PENCIL IN PRIVACY POLICY

PENCILIN may collect, store, transmit and make available to USERS and to any third‐party, so to provide the Services, some data and information provided by USERS during the registration process on the PENCILIN Platform. This includes, but is not limited to, the USERS location, name, profile picture, phone number, USER history and past experiences on the PENCILIN Platform.

Should you have any queries about any personal information that we hold about you, you may submit a request to us and we shall endeavor to respond to any such request as soon as we are able. You also have the right to modify, correct or delete your information

1. You can view stored data on the USER profile. The storage, processing and use of data collected without the authorisation of USERS will only be made where strictly necessary to comply with the contractual relation between the Parties, and the Payment Provider to process payments.

2. PENCILIN will collect personal data from you, the USER, when you voluntarily choose to register with PENCILIN.

Information you provide. In order to register as a user with PENCILIN, you will be asked to sign in using your Facebook login, Google login or Personal email. If you do so, you authorize us to access certain Facebook and Google account information, such as your public Facebook and GOOGLE profile (consistent with your privacy settings in Facebook and Google), your email address, interests, likes, gender, birthday, education history, relationship interests, current city, photos, personal description, friend list, and information about and photos of your Facebook friends who might be common Facebook friends with other PENCILIN users. You will also be asked to allow PENCILIN to collect your location information from your device when you download or use the Service. In addition, we may collect and store any personal information you provide while using our Service or in some other manner. This may include identifying information, such as your name, address, email address and telephone number, and, if you transact business with us, financial information. You may also provide us photos, a personal description and information about your gender and preferences.

We use the personal data that we collect in order to provide and improve our services, and as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy and in our Terms of Service. Examples of personal data include first name, last name, address, email address, telephone number, birth date, billing and payment information.

3. Third Party Personal Data: We also collect personal data from you, the USER, about certain third party individuals. We collect, store and use this personal data to provide and improve our services, facilitate communication between you and such third parties, and as otherwise set forth in this Privacy Policy and in our Terms of Service. You warrant to PENCILIN that any personal data you provide us about any third party individuals was obtained by you with full consent from such third party, and that such third party has not communicated to you that they wish to opt out of receiving communication from PENCILIN.

4. We strive to maintain the highest standards of security, however the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. So, whilst we will do our best to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website. Any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your personal information we will use strict procedures and security features to prevent unauthorised access.

5. All the financial transactions processed on the PENCILIN Platform may collect relevant information for specific purposes of use of the Platform and payment process. The USER hereby authorises PENCILIN to communicate to the third‐party Payment Provider, that if the USER involves itself (or PENCILIN believes that they have engaged in) in any illegal activity, or violates the rights of anyone, it results in the suspension or termination of the ability to use of the system.

The Use of Data

1. PENCILIN will not sell, rent or transfer to a third‐party, any USER data without prior written authorisation. Nevertheless, this information can be gathered and used internally, for statistical research, with the aim at getting a better understanding of the USER profile in order to improve products and services provided by PENCILIN Services.

3. When you interact with us through the Services, we receive and store certain additional personally non‐identifiable information. Such information, which is collected passively using various technologies, cannot presently be used to specifically identify you. Examples include IP addresses, browser types, domain names, and other anonymous statistical data involving your use of the Website and/or our services.

Google will use the information collected to evaluate the use of www.pencilinapp.com by USERS, prepare reports about the website activity and other services associated to the Platform.

If you provide personal data for a certain reason, we may use the personal data in connection with the reason for which it was provided. We may also use the CLIENT information you submit to send such CLIENTs emails or SMS messages when you take action via the Services to input them or at your direction via the Services. We may also contact your CLIENTS to tell them about products and services that you and other PENCILIN PROFESSIONALs may offer and to further promote your business and the Services. We will give your CLIENTs the opportunity to opt out of receiving communications from PENCILIN. PENCILIN and its affiliates also use your and your CLIENTs’ personal data and other personally non‐identifiable information collected through the Website to help us improve the content and functionality of the Website, to better understand the users of our Website, and to improve our services.

Marketing

We may share USER information with the merchants offering the products, services, promotions, contests and/or sweepstakes. We won't share your personal information with these businesses unless you choose to participate in their offer or program. When you choose to engage in a particular offer or program, you authorise us to share your email address and other information with the relevant merchant.
